"What makes us different from other guest houses"
is that I thoroughly enjoy making people feel at home. When guests arrive, I meet them at their cars and help them take their bags up to their room. I usually put on some enjoyable music and light a few candles. The female reps usually love a hot, long bath, which I run for them after a hard days work. I put a bottle of champagne on ice for them to enjoy in their candle-lit bubble bath. Once guests are finished with their pampering, they come down to the pool for a swim and a sundowner. I usually give the men a pair of slippers to walk around in- I want them to feel at home and as comfortable as possible.
Breakfasts at Guest House Kestrels are a real treat. Jason wakes up bright and early to prepare the breakfasts which usually consist of pancakes and mince, omlette’s, muffins, waffles, full english or continental breakfasts. ‘‘I make them whatever they like and they have a choice of home brewed coffee, teas and fruit juices to drink. Another small touch is that I pack them a lunch for the road. Our clients usually consist of reps and they do not have time to stop during their busy day on the road so I pack them a juice, some fruit and a small snack. These are the small touches that I feel makes our guests come back again."
